果真是來勢洶洶，H1N1從Mexico這麼一下子就讓全世界瘋狂！
但是就墨西哥醫療體制的完整性，我看還是得要去準備口罩了。

昨天看日本衛星PSB？的新聞頻道，墨西哥駐美大使三兩下將責任撇得一乾二淨，還說他們很快就發現這個問題，並立刻通報了世界衛生組織，而且他們有能力可以處理這樣的疫情。但是，事情發展顯然不是如他所說。最讚的是墨西哥民眾大辣辣對著鏡頭說：這是亞洲國家的疾病，是由境外帶進來的。嘿嘿，嘿嘿，這下連墨西哥衛生體系如此落後不健全的國家，都還要這樣吃定亞洲，簡直就是夠了！

昨天發現有好視覺性玻璃瓶身的紐西蘭礦泉水，沒下手，因為連瓶帶水很重，而且......買了一定會被批評太不切實際了。但是林老師倒是因為有活動而採買了很多食物，真不愧是眾人同意具有美食與廚藝雙料稱謂的達人。比起來，我只知道果醬跟巧克力，感覺就一整個low掉了。

接著是本週閱讀書單，本週腦部思考與閱讀能力衰退，因此以圖樣書籍為優先。以及翻書時看到的，人形標靶，超讚的，好想弄一張來貼。

The United Mexican States[5] (Spanish: Estados Unidos Mexicanos (help·info)), commonly known as Mexico (IPA: /ˈmɛksɪkoʊ/) (Spanish: México (help·info) IPA: ['mexiko]), is a federal constitutional republic in North America. It is bordered on the north by the United States; on the south and west by the Pacific Ocean; on the southeast by Guatemala, Belize, and the Caribbean Sea; and on the east by the Gulf of Mexico.[6][7] Covering almost 2 million square kilometres,[8] Mexico is the fifth-largest country in the Americas by total area and the 14th largest independent nation in the world. With an estimated population of 109 million,[9] it is the 11th most populous country. Mexico is a federation comprising thirty-one states and a Federal District, the capital city.

In the Pre-Columbian era complex cultures began to form in Mesoamerica. Many matured into advanced civilizations such as the Olmec, the Toltec, the Teotihuacan, the Maya and the Aztec before the first contact with Europeans. Mexico became a colony of Spain from the landing of Hernán Cortés in 1521 until its independence in 1821. The post-independence period was characterized by economic instability, territorial secession and civil war, including foreign intervention, two empires and two long domestic dictatorships. The latter led to the Mexican Revolution in 1910, which culminated with the promulgation of the 1917 Constitution and the emergence of the country's current political system. Elections held in July 2000 marked the first time that an opposition party won the presidency from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (Spanish: Partido Revolucionario Institucional, PRI).

As a regional power[10][11] and the only Latin American member of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) since 1994, Mexico is firmly established as an upper middle-income country,[12] considered as a newly industrialized country[13][14][15][16] and has the 11th largest economy in the world by GDP by purchasing power parity. The economy is strongly linked to those of its North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) partners. Despite being considered an emerging power,[17] the uneven income distribution and the increase in drug-related violence are issues of concern.
